Decorating pumpkins for fall harvest celebrations can be a lot of fun. Here are a few unique ideas for adding a little flair and creativity to your seasonal pumpkin.

•  Top a pumpkin with a western hat and place it on a tied bandana.
•  Wrap a pumpkin in gingham or calico fabric and tie it up with raffia. Attach a few fall leaves at the top.
•  Write a special message on your pumpkin.

 
 


Here are a few other ideas for pumpkins with pizzazz.

•  Using a white pumpkin, wrap a square of black toile around the pumpkin. Tie a silver ribbon to its stem.
•  Decoupage pumpkins with your favorite images.
•  Spray paint a pumpkin gold or silver, then spray adhesive on the pumpkin and sprinkle it with metallic confetti.
•  Take a strip of sequins and attach at the top of the pumpkin with a pearl-topped straight pin. Secure the rest of the strip downward with pins, following the ridges of the pumpkin. Glue glitter to the stem.
