“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one
has not dined well.”
Virginia Woolf
Add some fun to your
Fourth of July party food! If you are tired of the traditional
hamburgers and hot dogs, go ahead and try something different.
Here are
some new menu ideas to make this holiday unique, fun and entertaining
for everyone.
Dress up dessert. How about making an American flag-shaped cake?
Use white frosting, raspberries for the red
stripes, and blueberries for the stars!
Why not cook some shrimp, crab or even lobster? You can add grilled
chicken,
fish and steaks to the menu, or maybe even a vegetable kabob!
Don’t forget the drinks. You can make them special by adding flavored
ice cubes; in red, of course!
Just add water and strawberry flavoring to
ice cube trays and freeze.
The Fourth of July is all about fun in the sun, so keep it light, fresh
and simple!
