Captivated by the transparency of the medium,
Marie favors vibrant colors in her watercolors.
She receives her inspiration from the beautiful
tropical surroundings and flowers which she is
fortunate to enjoy since moving to Sarasota county
16 years ago. Marie paints from a studio in
Nokomis, Florida.
In 2007, one of Marie’s paintings won first place
in a Sarasota talent contest. She is a member of
Florida Watercolor Society and Canada Watercolor
Society as well as other art organizations.
Marie’s artwork can be seen in galleries in
Florida and Quebec, Canada.
