The 18-hole, par 72 course was originally designed as a walking course, with the greens and tee boxes close together. Of course, riding is permitted. Mission Valley has men’s and ladies’ golf leagues, as well as many tournaments scheduled throughout the year. Recent improvements to the course include new greens, a state-of-the-art sprinkling system, and enhancement of fairway bunkers. There is also a fully stocked pro shop for all your golfing needs.
 

The golf professionals at Mission Valley, led by PGA pro Jim Duval of the famous Duval golfing family, are always available for consultation and lessons. Jim Duval has been a class A PGA professional for over 30 years, and has been with Mission Valley for over 20 years!

If tennis is your game, you’ll find some of the best Har-Tru (soft surface) courts in the area. The three courts are open daily from early morning until sunset. There is open casual play, and fun events scheduled for the serious competitors. Members enjoy regular men’s, women’s  and  mixed doubles play. Professional services include clinics, private instruction and racket purchase or restringing.

The Clubhouse at Mission Valley has recently completed a two million dollar renovation and now offers additional seating, a large new bar overlooking the golf course, a lower lounge that provides members an extension of their living room, new locker rooms, and one of the largest dance floors in the area.

The Clubhouse also offers fine dining in the classic style of Chef James Christmas. There are luncheon specials offered daily, and weekday events that include family night, wine and dine, and special TGIF nights. Whether you are planning a dinner for two, or a party for 250, Chef Christmas and his talented staff will make your dining experience a memorable one. The Clubhouse is also available for weddings and special occasions. In addition, there are two smaller rooms that can host your private party of up to 50 people.
