The greatest privilege God gives us is the freedom to approach Him at any time. We are not only authorized to speak to Him; we are invited. We do not need to wait for an invitation; it is already ours. We are not only permitted; we are expected. God waits for us to communicate with Him. We have instant, direct access to God. He is never too busy to listen to us; He is never too involved to answer us. God loves mankind, His children, so much that He has made Himself available to us at all times.

Inpirational Quotes

“Forgiveness is the fragrance that a flower leaves
upon the heel that crushes it.”

“On the journey of life, go with grace, hope and love…
three really great traveling companions.”

“It is good to be saved and know it,
but it is better to be saved and show it.”

Timing

manprayflipRecently, a sea captain, who was in his retirement, skippered a boat filled with young day-trippers. On the excursion, they saw the captain praying before sailing out and laughed at him because the day was fine and the sea was calm. However, they weren’t long at sea when a storm suddenly blew in and the boat began to roll and pitch violently. The terrified passengers came to the captain and asked him to join them in prayer; but, he replied, “I say my prayers when it’s calm. When it’s rough I tend to my ship.”

If we cannot seek God in the quiet moments of our lives, we are not likely to find Him when trouble strikes. We are more likely to panic. But, if we have learned to seek and trust Him in quiet moments, then most certainly we will find Him when the going gets rough!

The Christian Professional Network

The Christian Professional Network (TCPN) was created to help build bridges of trustworthy communication between Christian business people in our area, and to significantly enhance and build businesses.

TCPN brings together a group of professionals, business owners, executives, managers and sales associates. Church pastors and leaders are also an important part of this organization.

Network Meetings:pastlynette

The April 7 meeting was held at the Center of Hope, hosted by Pastor Lynette McCleland. At the Center of Hope, you will find a warm welcome, a spirit-filled atmosphere with anointed preaching, lively music, and heartfelt worship, which ministers to every age level. “We believe Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and is still moving in signs, wonders, and miracles,” shares Pastor McCleland.

The next Christian Professional Network meeting will be held on May 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at New Hope Christian Church in Nokomis.
